Ink and insight: One-on-One Expressive Writing Coaching
If you’re looking for a personalized space to reflect, reconnect with yourself, and build a meaningful writing practice, this offering may be a good fit.
I’m not a literary instructor or published author — I’m a psychotherapist and lifelong journal keeper. Individual coaching focuses on writing honestly rather than beautifully. The goal isn’t perfection or performance; it’s reflection, awareness, and growth. Writing becomes a tool for insight, calm, and self-understanding.
While not psychotherapy, these sessions are informed by psychological principles and an understanding of how we make meaning through words. Each meeting offers a guided, supportive process tailored to your needs, helping you develop clarity, resilience, and creative momentum.
The coaching process
Teletherapy Only · 60-Minute Sessions
These one-on-one sessions offer a supportive, time-limited space to explore your inner world through writing and reflection. They’re ideal for anyone wanting to reconnect with themselves, gain perspective, and develop a sustainable writing practice without the commitment of ongoing psychotherapy.
Each coaching series begins with an Initial Consultation, where we get to know one another, clarify your goals, and identify what you hope to gain from the process. From there, I tailor prompts, reflections, and discussions to your needs. Sessions blend guided writing, conversation, and self-reflection, helping you build insight, resilience, and creative momentum.
Structure and Options
4-Session Series – A focused exploration around a specific theme or life transition
8-Session Series – A deeper process for developing your writing practice and exploring patterns over time
Additional Rounds – Optional continuation if you wish to build on the insights gained
These sessions are especially suited for people who wonder, “When does therapy end?” They offer a contained process with a clear beginning, middle, and end, while still allowing for meaningful change and self-discovery.
